A BetterECM Web 2.0 Style Logo – Created With PowerPoint 2007

Several weeks back there were many Bloggers which made a Web 2.0 style logos using Web2.0V2Logo Creatr. Which was pretty cool.

Well I have been playing with Office 2007 and specifically, PowerPoint 2007 and the new office Art capabilities and I have to tell you – It’s really cool!

Here is a blog with some good information regarding PowerPoint and Office Art.

More Buzz around Alfresco

The following article appeared in Datamation yesterday: Open Source ECM in a Windows World which highlighted a recent win for Alfresco with a reasonably good sized (7,000 users) organization. The new Alfresco customer is Informa, which is a technical publishing company.

Content is really the lifeblood for Informa and this new implementation will on serve to fuel the momentum of open source ECM. Congratulations to the Alfresco team!

Hmmm…This on the heels of the open source Records Management announcement.
